COMMENTS
We have recently purchased this boat
(floating skip). We will have to restore/replace everything inside as it has
been very neglected, we removed 53 black bags of rubbish and 148 buckets of
nasty black water. We are sure it will make a lovely boat one day.
It is being moved from hard standing at Sharpness, near
Bristol, where as you can see from attached photos, it has been used as a
skip, to Ringstead, Northampton, where we have a mooring on the River Nene.
We intend to work very hard on her to bring her back to
her former glory. We will then use her for cruising on the Nene.
Luckily we can work on her whilst staying on our present
boat, a 23ft Norman called Sunflower, also a bit of a project, but since
working hard on her over the last few months, she has a BSC and licence and
now just requires internal titivation in the form of cushion covers and
curtains - and a new engine! The attached photo is of Sunflower, will find
where I have filed Lady Alice and send them later. One of the things we are
going to do is change her name, complete with un naming ceremony!
We are looking for any parts and advice regarding the Norman 32. My tel
01903-763553. Regards Steve & Penny.
